This truck is very flexible.

The Austrian company Paul Grollitsch Nfg. engages in car recovery, crane jobs and transport assignments. The company has many heavy trucks. Then it's good to have a flexible one that can both do heavy lifting on construction sites and, if necessary, can also salvage trucks.

The special tow truck is a Scania 770S (flat nose), which has been converted into a nose truck with an extended chassis with a 10×4 system, with three steering axles. The conversion job was done by the Dutch company Falkom BV.

The Scania is equipped with a Fassi F2150 crane, with a maximum reach of 31 meters. It also has a fifth wheel and trailer coupling.

The crowning glory of the work is the salvage convertible superstructure with a bracket system, crane arm with two winches and space to hold equipment for car recovery. When the nose truck is going out on missions other than recovery, the recovery unit is parked.

It should also be mentioned that Paul Grollitsch Nfg. often use their crane trucks to lift broken-down heavy goods vehicles and trailers on the road after descents, in tandem lifts.
